I fired it the first time to bisque and then glazed it with orange glaze and fired it again. The teapot measures about 3/4" deep and about 4.5" X 3.5". You can use it in the kitchen while cooking as a spoon rest or teabag holder. My initials and the item number are carved on the back of the teapot.
